Cell Phones For Soldiers is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to serving troops and veterans with free communication services and emergency funding. The organization was founded in 2004 by Robbie and Brittany Bergquist at the ages of 12 and 13. To date, Cell Phones For Soldiers has provided more than 300 million minutes of talk time to our troops serving around the world through the Minutes That Matter program, and they continue Helping Heroes Home via emergency funds that so far have assisted more than 3,100 veterans.
You fuel Cell Phones For Soldiers’ charitable mission through generous monetary contributions and the recycling of donated mobile devices. Donations of newer or gently-used cell phones and tablets from all wireless carriers and brands are accepted. Each $5 contribution or donated device valued at $5 will provide troops with an estimated 2.5 hours of FREE talk time.
